VelQuest's SmartLab system captures all primary data electronically as it's generated and in the context of the analytical method being executed.  The data sources include data from:

• human observations from manual lab procedures (such as sample prep, wet chemistry, etc.)
• Serial or RS232 lab instruments (balances, pH meters, etc.)
• PC-Based Systems such as chromatography data systems, spectrophotometers, particle size analyzers, ICPs, robotics, and other PC-driven instruments.

Data is entered automatically and directly from electronic and PC-based instruments. Manual observations are entered using lightweight, convenient electronic display.

The system interoperates with your existing IT infrastructure that is on the network and includes bidirectional data exchange with systems such as Chromatography Data Systems, LIMS, ERP systems, document management and metrology systems.
